The Race

IMPORTANTThe Bad Thing 2020 is a go! Registration date has been CONFIRMED for Sep 1st at exactly midnight. The race will however be different due to provincial COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines. This includes a limited field of 50 participants per distance (100 total across both 25K & 50K), as well as being run as an “Out and Back” race due to bus restrictions. More details regarding aid stations, food and new finish location (outside) will be coming in the next few days and weeks as things unfold.

Social distancing rules will be strictly enforced before, during and after the race. Due to Covid restrictions, please do not bring extra family members, spectators or others to the race as it makes it difficult to adhere to social distancing requirements.

Race Date: Saturday, October 24th, 2020

Registration Opens: September 1st, 2020 (Midnight).

Race Info:

This year’s race will be run as an Out and Back, starting in Auburn, ON. Yes, this means two river crossings and no bus.

**Minimum age for participants is 18 years old.

Food, Swag and Goodies:

All participants receive:

  • Some sort of food bag
  • A Kick ass hoodie
  • A custom race buff
  • More details to come.

Refund Policy:
All Sales are final. Race Huron will not issue refunds, transfers or deferrals under any circumstances. All of our races benefit charitable organizations in Huron County and race proceeds are used to continually improve the race experience (race course, safety and event improvements). IF due to Covid19 pandemic changes we are forced to cancel at the last minute, we will mail your swag to you and the race will be run virtually and there will be no refunds.
